Amy W. Clark

Assistant Professor

Wake Forest University

My research focuses on the negotiation of identity and community in a wide range of Old English and Anglo-Latin texts, from missionary writings to riddles to elegiac poetry. In thinking across the medieval period, and across the English Channel, my areas of specialization include digital humanities, eco-criticism, antiracist pedagogies, diasporic literatures, and social identity formation. My most recent articles are forthcoming or published in Speculum and Early Medieval Europe.
